Could
"The Most Important Things"
written by A. Lopatina and M. Skrebtsova
be
Russia's answer to
Roald Dahl or Rudyard Kipling??
Well why not read these amazing stories and see for yourself!
We guarantee that by reading
The Most Important Things,
your child will be better educated
with regard
to
- the environment,
- morals and
- how to be happy!
You are just a few minutes away from discovering
a whole new world!! |

Important aspects of the Book:
Lopatina and M. Skrebtsova's tales on The Most Important Things are amazing stories containing colourful illustrations, remarkable characters and bags of adventure!
Join Redback the little mouse on his amazing journey of self-discovery in a world where pine trees sing, sunbeams talk and badgers and mice make the best of friends!!
See how these fascinating characters learn to value the importance of nature, to find strength in friendship and to realise their special importance in this marvellous world.
The Most Important Things radiate warmth and happiness on each and every page through beautiful illustrations of smiling suns and camaraderie between animals.

If you are sceptical about teaching your child moral education through fun adventures and imaginary tales, The Most Important Things will certainly dismiss any doubts you may have!!
Many teachers who were given these books by A. Lopatina and M. Skrebtsova 's were sceptical at first of their success as they had already tried, in vain, to teach their children morals. However, moral teachings need to be supported by descriptions and what better way than to convey this than by teaching children morals within natural surroundings and through characters that they can identify with?
“Children often see examples of immoral behaviour and misconduct and it is therefore important to help them understand the true values of life.” (Lopatina and Skrebtsova)
Galina Lilova from the Ministry of Education purchased a complete set of the books and rated the books and workshops very highly!! We guarantee that you will do the same!
Education, Education, Education….
“This is the book for children who like to ask 'why's ! For those who searches for answers to all kind of questions:
- Why do roses need prickles?
- Why do fish live in water?
And certainly for those who are searching for the most important answer to the most important question:
- Why does the sun shine?
- What is special about each of us?
- How can we learn to be happy?”
Any child who reads these tales cannot fail to be comforted by nature and the thought that the world is a welcoming and fascinating place. At the same time, they can learn of the importance of being pleasant to others and how positivity and friendliness can benefit the world.

Lopatina and Skrebtsova's moral tales echo
the originality of Roald Dahl and the striking tributes to nature that can be seen in the works of Rudyard Kipling!! ! |

A taster of the stories….
Introducing:
Redback the Mouse…
“The branch where Redback was lying had been well warmed by the sun, and felt good on his belly and paws. High above, at the top of the tall pine tree, the wind rustled the branches, and it seemed to Redback that the tree was trying to comfort him with its gentle sounds. He snuggled closer to the warm branch, closed his eyes, and started thinking……”
The friendly Sunbeam…..
“And indeed he was so happy he could hardly say anything. His little body was flooded with the joy of seeing his friend again, to the tip of every last fur and whisker. Then he remembered that the sunbeam never stayed long - for sunbeams have many things to do - and so he decided to get out all his questions at once…..”
And Swiftpaw, Redback's trusty brother….
“ ‘Hey, brother, over here!' he heard Swiftpaw call. «Under the boulders here, there's a tiny cave you can sleep in, and the ground is soft. Perfect for a burrow. Just look at it!....”

My applauds to you! I read the first 2 stories from "The Most Important Things" for my little son and was so thrilled that couldn't help it to read the whole book. Should admit this is really something that is truely worthy of reading - for both children and adults!
A.Parker,

a happy father & grandfather.
Like your books - my first books were your strories on Fruit and Vegetables, then this one. Content is very useful - not only for chihldren, but for any adult who is concern about morality and health! Moreover, it is a brilliant idea to have these books in English - now me and my daughter use them also to imrpove our English. I read your books in Russian first, now I specially acquired your English versions.

My friend presented me with this book quite some time ago. "I will have a look at it later,' I thought to myself, making a place for this new book in the bookshelves. I used to be bookwarm but not anymore - all of us know what a haotic life we all have! No time for anything! Only 2 months later I happened to take this book with when a very rare occasion allowed me to go to the beach with my husband (very rare occasion I would say!) "Let us see, what is it all about.... what is all these - most important things...' with this rather sceptical approach I began to page this book. Bright and skillful illustrations can ignite interest in anyone,no doubt about that! I began to read, first contents, then first pages. Then showed it to my hubby, saying that this book can teach a lot our kids. So, we both read few stories at one go, others - later, aloud, with our children at home. Good moral lessons, light-reading, very appealing pictures! Thank you for great work. And looking forward to be intoduced to your other books.

Thanx,
Abhi.
It's good to see an online community working for the betterment of children's future. Taking care of the children's future means taking care of the world's future. I would love to participate in your research. I have a 3 year old son and am very much concerned about what he should learn & what he should not.
Need your help and guidance.
Have a good day!
Regards,
Faria
We are science educators and writers in the UK . We are working with a
national science charity (the British Association for the Advancement of
Science) to create activities for children to use in science clubs in a wide
range of settings across the UK . ...Thank you for sending me the delightful book, the World of Fruit.
I have enjoyed browsing its pages. Maria and Alexandra write in a
beautifully lyrical style which I am sure will charm many children, teachers
and parents. They have cleverly woven their rich stories with information
about the fruit. A effective and creative thing to do. The addition of the
recipes at the end it such a lovely touch. I look forward to trying some at
some point.
I will look out for opportunities to let other people know about your books.
In the meantime can I wish you well with you venture to share these books
with a wider world.
Best wishes
